HF operations

On the HF side of things an Elecraft K4D drives a SPE Expert 1.5k  amplifier which was purchased then VK had a high power trial! 

The black home brew speaker in the pic was from a design in QST that sounds great.

The old 4WD in VK4 with the very average ATAS120 HF antenna. Since replaced with Landcruiser sporting a  Multiband SGC whip and tuner.

Home QTH has an Ultrabeam UB-MX20 pictured, 29 foot vertical and 40m full wave loop with relay opposite the feed-point to allow operation on 80m.
